Not mine.. 2014 Used Ferrari 458 Speciale at Towbin Ferrari Maserati Serving Las Vegas, NV, IID 14351678
Is that the same one that Wynn tried forever to sell? If so, there's a reason why it's not selling. I performed due diligence on the Wynn car and got the scoop.
I just checked, so I'll answer my own question: Yes, that is the car Wynn tried forever to sell. When I say "forever," I mean they had it listed all the way back in May. Just look at the Carfax. It tells you most of what you need to know. The rest you can fill in the gaps with a little sleuthing.
I doubt there are any issues...its being sold by a great dealer and its certified. If I were a buyer for that car I would trust whatever THAT dealers service told me. Rich who runs that Ferrari stores shop is the best in the US.
Not to thread hijack, but Ferrari moved out of the Wynn. Anyone know why, other than the rent was probably too high?
Car is perfect in person. Saw it 2 weeks ago while taking delivery of my Speciale A there... Best experience dealing with Towbin. No issues at all.... Call Jeff and he will take care of you.
I was down in Vegas beginning of Oct. and stayed at Wynn. Saw the car and it was priced at $425K at the time. Gorgeous car!
There was a whole thread on this. Vegas forum http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/las-vegas/499807-penske-wynn-ferrari-closing-2.html I don't think you are kidding. I've talked to a few people who are in the know and was told Wynn did indeed lose the dealership for flipping the LaFerrari. It was too well known that he flipped it and if they didn't do something then nobody would take the right of first refusal agreements seriously. Anyone could point to Wynn and say he did it and got away with it so why can't I? As such they revoked his dealership. Hope it was worth the $1.5M profit he made (not that he needs the money but the novelty and prestige of having Ferrari in your casino is priceless IMHO). You Wynn some and you lose some.
The Ferrari store is still in the Wynn hotel and will remain. Kind of odd if that's how it went down and Ferrari wanted to make a statement. I loved the dealership being there and living in Vegas, I was there 25 times if I was there once but there never was anyone in there even though they only charged 10 bucks a head. I don't know what happened and it's none of my business but those are just a couple observations I had. I bought 2 Ferrari's from the Wynn (430 and my present 458) and they were always very nice to me. Cars: 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider (Daily Driver) Ordered 2016 Lotus Evora 400
When I was selling a classic Porsche there were several guys all talking crap about it on the various old Porsche forums. Turns out...all 3 were trying to buy the car from the auction house owner I consigned it with. In other words, they wanted to buy it and were trying to taint it so they would get a better price. Didn't work. Another time selling a few old Porsche wheels (rare ones) a wanna-be buyer was talking smack online. All the while trying to work a deal with me. When I saw what he was doing I sold them to the second buyer in line for the same price.
It wasn't just SERVICED by the quick-lube shop in Texas. It was (very briefly) OWNED by the owner of the quick-lube shop in Texas...
So strange, scheduled maintenance is free on this car for 7 years. I wonder if having the car serviced outside of the factory has any impact on the warranty?
Since when is asking a question starting a rumor? I am the last person to want to start a rumor. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
I'm not one to normally chime in on this kind of hearsay but I'm going to because of my long standing relationship with Wynn and now Towbin...I'm not giving all details but LaFerrari being sold had Frackall to do with Wynn selling (LETTING) the dealership go. Did you know that Wynn's LaFerrari showed up with an Electrical issue (dead on arrival) and could not be driven? Did you know it took over a month to rectify and was not a nice ordeal. Imagine your 1.6 million dollar car sitting in maintenance for almost two months and no way to get replacemeant parts to fix it until Ferrari figured out what was wrong! Did you know that Wynn insisted on more allocations for years and in turn Ferrari said "build a bigger place and you will get more allocations" and so began the vicious circle!? Did you know the blueprints had already been drafted for an addition to Wynn Ferrari and then other things caused Steve to sell? I have heard the LaFerrari flip story one to many times! Oh and don't forget Steve Wynn owned the dealership, bought a limited edition Ferrari, sold it back to the dealership, then the dealership in turn sold it for a profit! And he did not make 1.5 million on the sale either! Stop recirculating the LaFerrari flip story as being the reason Wynn doesn't have a Ferrari dealership any longer it's just not fact. It amounts to 1% of the whole story. Just as The Mayor said this is how rumors start! And for what it's worth I don't have a dog in the hunt at all just sick of reading the BS.
I'm sorry. You didn't start it. You repeated something that wasn't true and that's how rumors start. Someone says something they misinterpreted and then it gets repeated and replayed until it becomes "fact". It wasn't meant at you so I'm sorry about that inference.
