Any four seater ferrari is less desirable. Lets face facts people think ferrari they want a two seat sports car not a four seat touring car. The 456 never the less is a beautiful amazing car, it's just much more likely to be purchased by someone who already owns another ferrari. The other main issue is the automatic. All 550s were manual hence why theyre worth more than the mostly automatic 575.
It's interesting ... I think the low price causes folks to be cautious ... I'm just a collector who doesn't want to make money on a car I just bought and I bought it right ... I love the auto box in a GT car in today's multitasking world ... You'll put your butt in the seat more because you can while doing all else you're doing ...
Some people are asking $80-90k for them though. This one is a great price. If it were August and I didn't buy another car already, I probably would be on a plane tonight...
Give it some time, it will happen. Never as high as the 550 curve but I predict no 456 will be available under 6 figures within the next 4 years (even automatic)!
Believe me the timing is bad for me too. That and i dont have the skills to convert it to a stick which is what id be tempted to do at this asking price.
Hello...Has the car ever been registered in California & if so, when ? Are all the emissions items on the car & working ? Thanks Rod
Phil, I am in Md. And really wish I had the room. I am in the Finksburg area. I have a terminal car disease also. Doctor said need to fuel the disease . Wife though said I need to get rid of something . Was in process of selling a 968 porsche . Where are you located ? Wife liked the car, though she thinks she likes your house better. I would be very interested if I make some quick room.
I just saw this thread - this is one of the few cars that my wife would have had me sell the 308 for. She LOVES these. I love these as well. Wish I had seen this before, but it would have likely still been bad timing for me too. PDG
