Can anyone decode the dates that these filters were manufactured from the code numbers on it? I feel like they are super old and I am curious. Im getting a new set today. Fuel was definitely still in the rails like crazy so i think all my check valves are ok. The filters also drained fairly fast so i dont think they were clogged or corroded.

I did notice my cam phase sensor has the same cracked connector as my crank sensor. I guess if replacing these filters does nothing, i will be waiting on my crank sensors to arrive then they will be next. I will probably order a new phase sensor as they arent ridiculously expensive...

I cleaned my IACV, MAF and TPS sensors about 50 miles ago, so i think those are all functioning properly. My MAF ohms were within like +-5 ohms of the 383. Is it difficult to remove the injectors/fuel rails to get them flow tested? That will be next after the phase sensor, and then fuel pumps will be after that.

Im not forgetting that i probably have ECU issues due to having the constant CEL's from my other post. I cant get the coolant temp sensor codes to go away even though they have been replaced. My entire wire loom may be shot or shorted for all I know. But without testing EVERY connection from the individual connectors all the way back to the ECU, and knowing what each voltage or resistance should be, i wont know.

Don't forget that number 9 in the diagram is a rubber gasket that is probably completely disintegrated by now and can clog up your fuel intake from the pumps. with all the rubber bits inside of it.

Those need to be changed on all cars from the 90s. Unfortunately, they are no longer available from Ferrari and the Fiat, Alfa stock seems also depleted.

It's a longshot but could that be related to your issue? maybe.

Well i hope not! But i dont want to dive into the tank/pumps until ive finished the easy (and necessary) replacements externally.

Fuel filters didnt make a difference that i noticed. Im going to try to source new MAF's. Ive cleaned them once before, and did affect the idle, so my problem may be related to them. If the maf's arent syncing with the TPS's then it could cause the ecu's to send incorrect fuel. Could be a lot of my problems...

Ok, after messing with the MAF's and TPS's, i dont think they are my problem. I think we are down to either injectors, or maybe ignition modules? Can ignition coils, or ignition controllers cause intermittant stumbling on acceleration, and an occasional idle misfire? Or does this sound more like a leaking/dripping/stuck injector? I believe injectors... I am thinking aboug going this route...

It seems like getting the whole balanced set is cheaper than sending mine in go get cleaned and balanced...

Losing the fuel pressure after engine switch off can also point to leaking injectors. However, leaking injectors would not cause much hesitation/stumbling at higher revs but will mostly affect the quality of idle.

Sudden hesitation/loss of power can indeed be caused by intermittent problem in the ignition system. Before you spend big money, I suggest you first check and clean the coil and ignition module connectors. By the way, the coils and the modules are shared by a number of other cars so you don't need to go for genuine Ferrari parts. The modules, you can go for Hella 5DA 006 623-601 ($60) or Valeo 245525 ($80) (Lancia, Fiat, Opel, Citroen, Peugeot, Porsche). You can get the ignition coils with identical part number (0 221 503 407) as a part for a number of other cars (ALFA, AUDI, CITROEN, FIAT, HONDA, KIA, LANCIA, PEUGEOT) at about $50.
