Indeed and this is sort of my point. But as Joe has said, not big deals to fix. The car is stunning and beautiful in pretty much all respects.

Lets hope she's seen out in the wild, where all Countach's need to be ;-)

I've lost count of how many times I've seen an upside down S recently on restored cars... Part of the problem could be that the S in the new SV logo (from 2010) is turned upside down compared to the original S.

*Highly original and well-cared for example
*Low-mileage example of the radical Countach Supercar
    *Beautifully presented inside and out
    *Recently serviced
    *One of just 610 produced

    THE MOTORCAR OFFERED

First roaring to life in Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese workshop in October of 1987, this 1988 model year Bianco Polo Park Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole was destined for the US market. Featuring a fuel-injected version of Lamborghini's new 48-valve 5,167cc V12, this potent supercar was driven sparingly by its first owner, an Illinois resident according to the cars CARFAX. By 1995, this rare Italian supercar had covered just over 8,000 miles when it came was sold to a collector who kept it maintained and stored in a climate and humidity controlled museum setting for 15 years.

Thanks to careful maintenance over the past 27 years, the Quattrovalvole on offer remains in highly original condition. The angular Kevlar and aluminum bodywork is very straight and the Bianco Polo Park paintwork presents beautiful throughout. At some point, the large American-market bumpers were removed, replaced with the considerably less intrusive European-specification examples.

Upon raising the iconic scissor-style doors, the cabin is swathed in its original black leather, which shows minimal wear and retains a rich black hue. The bolstered seats are in similarly good condition, as is expected with such a low mileage example. All gauges and interior features, including the air-conditioning, are in fine working order.

With fewer than 35,000 kilometers shown on the odometer, a figure believed to be the cars actual mileage from new, this Countach underwent an extensive servicing in October of 2015, preparing it to be enjoyed by its next owner. Offered with its original tool kit and jack and CARFAX report, this Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole is an absolute head-turner in highly original state and, thanks to its recently serviced V12, performs as incredibly as it looks.

    2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spider
    Lot 76
    Only 1,200 miles from new
    Blu Fontus Metallic
    Estimate US$ 90,000 - 120,000
    To be sold without reserve
    VIN: ZHWGU22T67LA05471

    4,961 DOHC V10 Engine
    Multi-Point Sequential Fuel Injection
    520bhp at 8,000 rpm
    6-Speed 'E-Gear' Transaxle
    All-Wheel Drive – Independent Suspension
    4-Wheel Ventilated Disc Brakes

*Factory soft top version of most popular Lamborghini ever
    * Collector owned from new—only 1,200 miles
    *Pristine CarFax report
    *Desirable "e-Gear" paddle-shift option
    *Exceptional two-tone interior

    THE MOTORCAR OFFERED
Having covered only about 1,200 miles from new, this car is surely one of the lowest mileage and finest early Gallardo Spiders existing. It is finished in "Blu Fontus Metallic," a dark shade that coordinates beautifully with the especially striking two-tone medium blue and tan leather interior. A significant option found on this Gallardo is Lamborghini's "e-Gear. " Enthusiastically endorsed by road testers, the electronically controlled paddle-shift system added $10,000 to the Spider's MSRP. Its settings enable the driver to interact with the gearbox to suit his/her preference, ranging from fully automated shifting to full driver control of gear selection. The Gallardo is also equipped with a factory option in-dash Navigation system.

Following upon its April 2007 completion at Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese works, the Gallardo Spider was shipped to a Texas Audi dealer. The car was first registered to its original Massachusetts owners on June 11 of that year, and has remained under their ownership since. Records reported by CarFax indicate the Gallardo Spider has been driven only 100-200 miles per annum since delivery eight years ago. Its odometer showed but 1,161 miles at the November 2015 photo shoot for this catalog. Consider that many Gallardo Spider owners undoubtedly exceeded this example's odometer reading during their first weeks of ownership!

At the owners' behest, proceeds from the sale of this exceptionally attractive and extremely low mileage Gallardo Spider will be donated to the Heritage Museum and Gardens at Sandwich, Mass.

1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV by Bertone @ RM Sotheby's
    Arizona 28-29 January 2016

    Chassis no. 4912
    Engine no. 30673
    28487 km indicated
    Giallo Fly/Beige

The only Miura SV originally finished in Bleu Medio
One of five single-sump SVs sold new to the U.S. and equipped with air conditioning
Recent mechanical service; an excellent driver’s Miura
    Original matching-numbers engine

Completed on October 29, 1971, this Miura SV, chassis number 4912, was originally finished in Bleu Medio over a Pelle Bleu interior and was shipped new to the United States through Modena Car U.S.A. Notably, it was the only Miura SV to be finished in that color according to Joe Sackey’s definitive tome, The Lamborghini Miura Bible. Furthermore, it is one of eleven single-sump Miura SVs to be fitted from new by the factory with optional air conditioning and one of just five examples equipped as such delivered to the United States. Chassis 4912 resided in Texas as of 1977 under the ownership of Pedro A. Rubio but had left his ownership by 1979. It is believed that the car remained in the United States until at least 1992. At that time, the car was imported from the United States to Japan by the Tokyo Pipe Co. Ltd.

The car remained in Japan for the next 20 years, and during this time, it remained largely in static storage. By 2011, it was sold to a Mr. Yamaguchi of Tokyo, who sold it to its current custodian. The car has only recently arrived back stateside and is said to be in wonderful driving condition. Currently finished in Giallo Fly over Beige as refinished during an older restoration, the car has received a recent mechanical service to bring it up to superb running and driving condition. Following a test drive, an RM Sotheby’s specialist commented that the car makes great power and has very responsive steering. Driving on the roads of Los Angeles, he further commented that “it’s hard to get looks driving around LA, but a Miura continues to turn heads!”

Without the Miura, it can be argued that Lamborghini might not even exist as a company today. Its importance to the automotive world as a whole simply cannot be understated. Chassis number 4912 is an excellent driver’s Miura and would surely put a smile on the faces of any driver and passenger at speed. Furthermore, considering its incredible original specification, it would be a fantastic candidate for restoration and would surely attract lots of attention at concours events around the world.

Regardless, this is a Miura to be enjoyed and driven—quickly!

    1971 Lamborghini Miura LP400 S by Bertone @ RM Sotheby's
    Arizona 28-29 January 2016

    Chassis no. 4782
    Engine no. 30578
    Body no. 692
    Bianco/Blu

    A desirable, very late–production Miura S
Formerly of the Isao Noritake collection for 32 years
    Only 3,788 kms since new

Chassis number 4782 was the 22nd-from-last Miura S produced of the 388 built between 1968 and 1971. It is officially recorded in Lamborghini’s Factory Records as production sequence number 592 with Bertone body number 692 and engine number 30578, all of which remains today, some 45 years after the car was built.

This Miura S was originally finished in Bianco, with the standard blue cloth and vinyl interior. The order was placed by the well-known official Milan agents AutoElite in October of 1970. Delivery of the car is known to have taken place that December, although the original owner and his or her location is not known. According to the consignor, in 1973, it was observed by journalist Peter Coltrin, who noted that the car was back at the Lamborghini factory and now painted red. It was apparently there for services and repairs after an accident. He further noted that the car retained its blue cloth and vinyl interior.

The owner states that it is believed this Miura remained at the Lamborghini Factory in their client services storage building in an unrepaired state for the next decade before finally being sold on November 5, 1983, to Japan’s most famous Lamborghini collector and enthusiast Isao Noritake of Aichi, Japan. A founder and chairman of the Japan Lamborghini Owner’s Club (JLOC), Mr. Noritake is also the president of the JLOC Racing Team, a privately run professional team that has been successfully racing Lamborghinis with direct Factory support for the past two decades. Noting that the car had, at the time, only 3,700 kms, having been off the road since 1972, Mr. Noritake noted that the car retained all of its original “born with” components. He proceeded to have it cosmetically repaired and refinished to the original Bianco, and he had the interior reupholstered in the present two-tone blue and white, both by the Lamborghini factory in the course of repairs and servicing. Today, if closely inspected, there are still signs in a few hidden areas of the underlying red paint.

Following this work, the consignor notes that the Miura S remained in Mr. Noritake’s private museum, driven only for services and maintenance procedures, for the next 32 years, after which it was acquired by the present owners. With the exception of the cosmetic repairs and refinishing performed by the factory three decades ago, it remains largely as-delivered; in fact, the correct body number stamping appears prominently throughout, as would be expected, and the engine and chassis stampings are correct and original, including both the engine block and head stampings, with the date stamping on the head recording “7 1 70,” or July 1, 1970. In fact, the majority of the chassis and under-hood finishes appear extremely original, aside from cleaning and proper maintenance. The sale of this lot includes both an owner’s manual and a period sales brochure, as well as the tools and jack.

Surely one of the lowest-mileage Miura S’s known, and a desirable late-specification model benefiting from the best long-term ownership, this is an outstanding example of the original supercar.

FWIW, its the result of a customized non-original restoration.

This was a private customization done to match the color-scheme of Noritake's Countach LP400 (which was also a customized non-original restoration).

Here is without a doubt, the most honest, original and no stories Anniversary Countach we have ever had the privilege to offer. This car virtually checks all the boxes of what collectors and enthusiast are looking for. Manufactured in June of 1989 by Nuova Automobili Lamborghini SpA at Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, in Black paint over Cream leather upholstery with optional rear wing and Alpine stereo sound system, the car was purchased new by Mr. Vitols of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 30th 1990 from F.C. It presents as a top tier preservation example, retaining original paint, upholstery, glass, trim and auxiliaries. The paint has aged and shows typical light crazing in some areas which give it an attractive patina and sense of honesty. Meticulously maintained its entire life with regularly scheduled services performed and recorded at the Authorized dealer this Countach further benefits from a recent 2015 Major Service resulting in its strong current performance and continued drivability.
