Hi to all...well I've actually had the car for a few months.....CA car, s/n 20757, mostly original with around 95K miles showing. Slowly working towards getting it safe & Ca legal. Replaced a few fuel lines, etc., also oil pan gasket. I'm in the process of sourcing smog pump & related bits (does have injection tubes). Quite a list of other stuff to make it a really good driver yet. Have to say, very grateful for all the great advice I've found so far on F-chat... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Congratulations on a beautiful, early GTB! As far as the mirrors go, althought IMO the Californian mirror looks the best on a GTB, the Baby Tornado mirrors (which look like what is on your car) may be original. My early 308 was fitted with one Baby Tornado from delivery. I was going to change to a Californian, but upon inspection, it was drilled for the Tornado and I was not going to drill additional holes to accomodate a new mirror. Just may want to keep this in mind if you are picky (like me ; ) about the car's originality. It's beautiful! Drive it in good health! Anthony

Welcome to the club. I have 21465 (77 GTB)and just made it CA legal. (It took nearly 1 1/2 months of collecting the missing emissions parts). It's a lot of work but worth it in the end. Let me know if you need any hints.
