NGKs are famous for their wide heat range. Why change?

NGK has been the go to plug for drivability issues for many cars. Autolite is never even on the radar screen.

Driving a 599 and trying to save a few dollars on spark plugs? I don't know what to say.

Buy an 8 cylinder car next time and save 33% I guess.

Might as well go for a 1 cylinder then...

It isn't only about savings, but also finding alternatives were possible.

Good to know that Autolite plugs aren't even -

Same questions have been raised on oils, oil filters, and air filters. Same advice applies. Not worth the effort to save a buck or two. Just because it fits and is in someone's application chart, does not make it a good idea. NGKs were a huge boon to my Dino and Daytona in the good old days because of the heat range.
