    Not the most expensive watch I own but it is my "go to" timepiece and wear it often. I've done some customizing to it over time (roulette date wheel, custom two-tone endpieces, croc strap, & deployment clasp). I sure like this old 1501 made in 1968.

    Yes, the complications on the 5990 are very cool.
    If they ever offer it in the blue dial, I may have to sell a kidney and pick one up!

    Send an old beat up watch to Alex & Beau at ABC Watchwerks in Los Angeles and they'll send it back to you looking almost new. They do amazing work. Not cheap, but top notch.

    Only a few trusted service shops in this country. These guys are one of the few.
    They are working on my vintage Daytona at the moment.
