Maybe part of it is where i live , seems like every time we did drive it smacking the front lip and pounding over potholes and rough roads really took the fun out of it and contributed to the decision . It will be missed , i did love it . I remember one day in a gas station , after finally fueling up , people posing for pictures by it , the questions , the admireers , i said " see , if we were in a porsche 911 people would not even notice and we would be on our way ." Ironic . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That was one of the reasons I didn't get a Porsche 911. Extremely fun to drive, especially in S and TT versions, but not particularly distinctive. I see Caymans and 911s every time I leave the house. (That is not meant to be a knock on those cars. There is a reason they sell so many: they are fantastic.) I just wanted something you don't see everyday.
John, happy for you getting what you did on your car but sad to see you out of a 348. Please do stay around, your wit is welcomed here. As for the roads in PA, I can feel for you, it is my home state where I spent most of my life on those crummy roads and I am glad to be away from them. As for the 996TT, you will enjoy it for sure but then again I am a little biased because I have a Lapis Blue beauty sitting in the garage. Best of luck with it.
