    Has anyone made a 3D replica of the window switch bezels? I cracked one and see that they are kind of hard to come by and the ones for sale are probably as brittle as mine.
    Seems like those would be simple to copy.

    Which side, driver or passenger? I've been doing a lot of 3d printing for the ashtray on the 348. I currently have my driver side door apart. If I can help I have no problem making one up for you.

    are the ones for the 348 same in the 355? I have a 348 I can copy and test before shipping.

    The 348 part number is 62158800 and the 355 is 63963700

    Can someone post a closeup shot of the 348 bezel for comparison. Or maybe Daniel or Robbie will chime in.

    Does the "call us" mean it's made of unobtanium. I see both the 348 and 355 say this.

    Can I send you a 355 one to copy? I can probably glue it together and it would hold long enough to make a duplicate

    We have 11x of 63963700 in stock.

    The 348 one is currently NLA/discontinued, but I expect they will be remanufactured at some point.

    I just talked to a guy here who said it will probably be way stronger than it was to being with. I'm just not sure how perfect they will be compared to an original.

    3D printed item strength has a lot to post printing treatment. Also, they can be weak to strong depending on the direction they are printed just as much as the end material strength plays a role in the strength. 3D printer technology is pretty cool though.

    I have no problem making one if you send it to me, no charge. Try it out and if works keep it, If it doesn't then you still have the option to buy one. I will pm you my address.

    I just looked at the one for the 348 and I will copy it tonight and print one up tomorrow. Will post pictures for you guys to see. Looking at the original I can definitely improve on it and make the clips a lot stronger then what the are, there is a lot of clearance behind the switches to do this.

    (There's still so much going on behind the scenes with our new website that it takes me longer to get things updated than I'd prefer. The old site was "stable" for nearly 10 years, so I suppose it's like trying to teach an old dog new tricks!)

    Looking at a couple of pictures of that piece on the 355 on ebay close up and 3d printing it would make the close out piece next to the 2 buttons rough, do to the shape. On the 348 this piece is almost flat and would have no issues being printed.

    After some expert hot glue action this piece is put back together and will be on its way to you shortly in fed ex.
    It's only missing one of the notches on the back that you may have to add in with CAD.
