Does $75k seem like the right range for such a car? Is that a high or mid mileage? Should I be worried about that mileage? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The year of the car is???? For a manual, and looks in good shape no bubbling of the leather dash. If the PPI checks out, I would say that is a fair price.
It's a 6 speed, grab it now and hold onto it. 37K is high milage but with maintance done you will be good to go.
It is high mileage to flippers and collectors, it is mid mileage to enthusiasts. Price is pretty good assuming it needs very little. Tan dash top and steering wheel would keep some buyers away but is very practical and if you don't mind it better for you. You could always re-do at a later time. I like the way the vents pop with the contrast.
Assuming it checks out - no stories or issues - I think it's a bargain. Dash and wheel color are nice but remember you will get a lot of glare in the windshield on sunny days.
Smh ...37k shouldn't be high miles to no one but collectors. I'm at 68k and it's been more reliable then my Bimmer
That price is pretty good especially for a manual.., but that tan dash and steering wheel looks pretty hideous imo and would definitely hurt resale I would guess. That would be a deal breaker for me for sure! Also the tan is alot harder to take care of than a black interior. The seat bolsters show wear alot quicker on a tan interior. Good luck!
seems like that f430 in the picture is from a dealer on ebay which is also a 6 speed. Ferrari 430 F430 6 Speed Manual with 16M Scuderia Sills | eBay
Yes that does look like the same car in the background at IAG. If you are in FL you should have a chance to drive both the 348 and 360.
Should there REALLY be that much of a price difference between 20k and 37k miles? I realize there is - but it's so stupid. With limited information, looks like a bargain.
Miles wouldn't deter me personally. Mine has 60k on it and runs perfect. If the manual 360 is really worth something then an extra few miles shouldn't matter. Price is in the ball park IMHO.
Good eyes - I'd seen that F430 before but couldn't remember where. Love the color. Back to the original question. Unless you are a collector, what's more important than miles are maintenance records and condition. Assuming both of those are good, and if you're looking for a red Modena manual, it appears to be quite an excellent choice. Dash tops and steering wheels can be changed if you find them revolting.
If this car checks out, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Even if you are not crazy about the tan steering wheel and dash top. The top will likely wrinkle at some point, and you can change to black at that point if you prefer, and a black steering wheel should not be too costly. You buy at a discount due to miles, and if you sell within a few years you sell at a discount as well. If you hold on to it for decades, miles will become less important, and the stick will likely dominate value (=winner)
I think the prices is a bit high unless it's a perfect car. I just bought a 2000 with 14k with all services records for 75k. 37k is up there for that kind of money.
BUY BUY BUY Miles not an issue. Barring accidents and hidden issues its fair and will not last. If you don't buy it, in ten years this will be a cautionary tale you'll tell like the Dino my father passed on for 16k in e the late 80s/90s and the 330 gtc I passed on in 2000 for a pittance. Scott

What a "pleasant" first post so I'll continue with your demeanor. Since you just bought a car your research should've shown that red cars typically go for $10K higher than silver, and manual cars have (sometimes stupid) premiums as well. If your car is so equipped then congratulations on your very well-bought purchase. If it's a low-optioned silver F1 Modena you could've gotten it cheaper, but still you have a Ferrari 360 and life doesn't suck. In any event I wish you the best of luck with your 360, enjoy!
While i'm aware of the premium colors of Ferrari's and the ridiculous premium of the manuals i bought a car from a friend and client with 5 current Ferrari's all meticulously maintained. This particular car was in his possession since 2003 an i'm the 3rd owner. One call to dealer and they sent me every receipt since it was delivered 9/2000 till today... I honestly wasn't looking to buy a Ferrari but 3 months ago (while my sons and i were admiring his collection of Ferrari's) he threw me the keys and said please put some miles on this for me it needs some use. My 15 year old son flipped out as did the rest of my kids. I think i flipped more. Drove it home wife (born in Italy) said to me "your buying this right", and the rest is history. It may be corny but a great story all around and i don't care if it's purple, beige or pink. Bar none the most thrilling car i have ever owned and 3 months not a single problem. I already put 1k more on the clock and will drive it till the wheels falls off. Prices of these car today are a steal if you get a good one regardless of color. Who cares if they lose 20 of value next fews year it's pointless. My brother bought and still has a 2006 Gallardo 225k with tax. Depreciation hits hard and i feel 360's have bottomed or are close to it. Since i'm a newbie somebody explain to me how to posts pics and i will do just that. Thank you for all the wealth of info on this site as i have a lot to learn. Now about those sticky interior bits WTF!!
I was wondering does Ferrari have an option code list label somewhere attached to the car. Porsche has the option code list on the underside of the truck lid. My car seems like it's fairly optioned up. Has the insert shields in the fender, plus power seats, luggage, cd changer, etc. I would like to know what options it has beyond a basic car. The original selling dealer is trying to find the original window sticker. I also want to commend the dealer who serviced the car and sold it new back in 2000. They have supplied my with every detail they have with no question. Of course with the prior owners consent but all this dealer bashing i see here i simply have never experience it thus far.
It's called the build sheet. You can get t from a dealer where it's serviced or maybe FNA. It's the same as the Porsche sticker on the car but not on the car. the original sticker is harder to get but doable. Scotts
Thanks for the info! I will try FNA as the original dealer service people were very informative. The sales staff not so much as they would be the ones to supply the info. Since i'm not buying a car from them i doubt i will get attention in this regard. Thanks again.
