    Hi all

Pretty new to Ferraris and wondered whether all my dash warning lights actually works in my 95 manual, 2.7 motronic. On my other cars pretty much all warning lights are active when the ignition is in position two and then goes off when the car is started.

In my 355 the below pictured warning lights are on when the ignition is in position two before starting the engine. When the engine is started I get an suspension warning and an ABS warning and (plenty of threads on that subject that I investigate further).

Question is: Am I missing some warning lights e.g. “check engine 1-4” that should be on when the the ignition is in position two indicating that some bulbs are blown?

Thanks in advance (and sorry on forehand if this subject has been debated – I have tried search-ng through the treads with no luck).

Maybe some one could take a Picture of their dash when ignition on (but without engine started).

    Thanks in advance :)

Have you pulled the dash pod off to check that the bulbs are all installed and working?

Hi Watson, thank a lot for the response. Haven't done that yet, as I wanted to see which lights other members get when the ignition is on to indicate whether some bulbs might be blowned (before pulling the dash).

Thanks for the photo, Ernest. My '98 car is similar to yours, but I noticed my seat belt light and brake light weren't working. The park brake was off, so that's probably why the brake light didn't work. I just have to figure out why my seat belt light didn't work. I did notice some loose wires under the driver's seat (coming from the floor), but they were in the middle of the floor, not near the seat belt. Does the seat have a pressure sensor? I couldn't find a circuit for the seatbelts in the wiring diagrams.

    Thanks
    Cheers
    Ian.

    Ian,
When I got my car several of the bulbs were missing or blown. It isnt hard to remove the dash pod (two screws) and check the bulbs (or swap them around) to figure out what is working. A couple of the lights on the dash in my picture only stay on for a couple of seconds when the key is turned on. I had to time the camera exposure to catch them on. I think everything turns off after a few seconds EXCEPT Check engine, battery, and Slow down.

Thanks, Ernest. Sorry for the slow response.

After much hesitation, I pulled the binnacle off and checked the lamp. It was ok. Yes, removing the binnacle/dash pod is easy.. it's putting it back that can be tricky :)

I'll start a new message thread for the seat belt problem.

    Cheers
    Ian.

Long #2 phillips and dont take the screws all the way out. It gets easier after 20-30 times. :)
