Fantastic that the blanks made their ways to you guys before X'mas and really appreciate your compliments
I just ordered 6 Talk about kicking the crap out of the OEM key market. Well done! I will not pay $400 Canadian for a single key blank. Thanks for putting in the effort to make these keys!
Package arrived in Austin, Texas today... very nice! Great job, Steven, and thanks for making your key blanks available to us. Rgds, Mark
One side says "Torino", one side says "S.A.F.E." The only complication there is there were multiple blanks used, 4 in total. Having reproductions of those would be nice, as the aftermarket variants are all a bit too wide and can damage the shutter on the locks.
Guys, I have passed the sales issues to Jim aka "i-velocita". If you want any of these repro blanks, you should contact him directly now. And no, I'm not going to sell any more of these myself Sorry if you missed the chance, but if you had contacted me before about the key blanks I will still complete the transaction. Thank you all for the support and wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Looks like there comes the new ad. after the buyout deal. Anyone interested shall see this post instead: NEIMAN IGNITION KEY (repro) - FITS FERRARI 208 246 275 308 330 365 (and some Porsche) http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=510049 And no, not going to sell anymore myself cuz it was a buyout deal. Also the price thing is not my call as well, thanks!
Now $50? Still a good deal but almost 10X what you were charging. Got my 6 this week and they look great thanks again! Paul
$50! Wow! I hope Steven gets $30 of that...otherwise not too cool. I feel like I've just watched a reverse home mortgage commercial.
Greetings all, I generally don't comment in the forums re items I have for sale in Ferrari Ads anymore for fear of running afoul of the mods. I hope they allow me a little leeway this time to clear up any misconceptions and to avoid ill will. Piezo produced a run of spectacular NEIMAN key reproductions and sold many of them to members of this forum. He did not have an interest in being in the key business long term so I purchased the remaining unsold keys. I paid thousands to do this and also preserve the tooling. Even with the price increase, I don't expect to break even for one or more years. Not my intention to gouge anyone, I just want to earn back my investment and show a profit one day. I picked a price point that will allow me to provide these to the Ferrari Chat community long term. I hope you understand. Best...Jim
It's hard to cover the production cost of a low production item. It's not like you have a large mass of buyers. Price is fair!
