Don't compare Ferrari to a pimped up Bettle from a firm that is nor close to its clients and produces 200,000 cars a year.

Well... its really incredibly difficult to believe that anyone would ever take the opportunity to make a profit. (sarcasm just in case that's not obvious.)

Or as I saw during the Enzo allocations -

Original buyer is given a allocation spot by dealer

    Original buyer forms LLC

Original buyer takes deliver of Enzo Ferrari and titles in the name of the LLC

Original buyer sells LLC to new owner.

10,000 posts and unsure whether an F12 TDF trades at a premium in the after market, did not earn to offend but have you been on a very long holiday Henry.........

I don't define my reputation by spending all day on here, but had still noticed that LE Ferraris trade at a premium in the current market.

All I do know is people who "flip"these beautiful and sought after cars that genuine enthusiasts desire make my blood boil. Life is not just about money.

Since Henry is from the Atlanta area, I feel it's necessary to chime in and establish that his real estate partner is not referring to an Atlanta allocation. We know who will get these cars and have established relationships with these clients. I am not at all interested in souring a great relationship with FNA for a short term gain and the customers we sell our cars to value their ability to buy special cars at MSRP. It's easy to infer that we might be the dealer. I don't doubt Henry's word at all but don't want the wrong impression, here.

OK, looks like no allocation for me since I haven't owned a V12 Ferrari before. Dealer thought I was a shoo-in but was wrong. Ugh... probably the last naturally aspirated V12 Ferrari ever to be produced. Anybody has an allocation they would consider letting me buy?

you obviously know and care about fcar prices and the associated money more than me.....

i have zero interest in any of the new models and i don't follow them. i couldn't tell you what the MSRP is for a 458, f12 or a la ferrari.

the concept that someone could purchase something NEW and have it become instantly more valuable lends itself to some sort of greater fool theory..but that is just my humble opinion.

You believe the concept is some sort of greater fool theory? Yeah right, and I'm Father Christmas.

You know 99% of humans want an advantage. It's in our DNA. Ferrari is no different from any other successful enterprise or organisation using this as considerable leverage. We will always want what is denied to us. So as long as the product is highly desired and supply restricted (car, apartment, jeans or even Pokeman cards) someone somewhere will pay more if they missed the cut.

For Scraggy, I've been there and it's deeply frustrating. I can't repeat what my dealer principal said to me over the phone when he told me he had sourced me an "F12 Speciale" allocation. I hadn't asked for one. Lucky for me the conversation wasn't by video as he would have seen my pissed reaction to his words over my face and that would have been the end of our relationship. We all know the system is what it is. That said, in my humble opinion, posting here asking people who's up for buying an allocation is naff.

Sorry but I must be dumb. You were pissed that your dealer offered you a tdf allocation?

Delighted with the allocation. Less with the rationale.
