Was in Vegas this past week for my 21st birthday. Since I'm young and can't afford a Ferrari yet I wanted to experience one and see how different it was on track compared to my Lotus Elise. After doing a little research I found a company called DreamRacing which is based at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Their inventory was astonishing! My instructor told me they had about 80 total vehicles including multiple different GT cars. I showed up set on trying a 488 but theirs was not available due to recalls being preformed on it so they offered me a discount on driving one of their EIGHT F430 GT race cars. After a short classroom session, some time in a simulator to learn their course, and a few discovery laps in a Porsche Cayman GTS I jumped (wedged) myself into the driver's seat of the 430 and set off for one of the most fun experiences I've had on a track. I know I'm not the best driver but here is a video of my time in the F430 GT.

I'm sharing this story because my instructor informed me they and a place in Dubai are the only places in the world you can experience a GT car like this. If your interested in driving a GT car and are ever in Vegas then I highly recommend doing this.

    Happy Birthday Andy!

And congratulations on your F430 Challenge experience which I know will always stay with you. It might influence your choice of cars to buy in the future.

    Thanks Berry!

Similar experiences in multiple other supercars and on multiple other tracks is what motivated me to get the Elise. I look forward to what more driving skill and a larger budget will allow me to do in the future.

The sound, acceleration, and braking for the F430 will definitely stand out in my memory for a long time.

It is a 430 Challenge. Dream Racing also has a 458 Challenge as well.

For some reason they call all their dedicated track cars "GT" -- for example they refer to their Porsche CUP Car as a PorscheGT, The 430C as a 430GT, the 458C as a 458GT. I assume it is just to keep it simple and they use that designation for any track built car.
