    Hello,

    Based on recommendations from fellow FChat members and my impression how the "gaps" in the upshifts, it could be that the clutch free play requires adjustment.

    I would like to know if anyone could point out how this is done and how it is measured or verified for correct setting.

    You need an SD3 or equivalent to set PIS (point of initial slippage). No way to do it yourself without a suitable tool.

    It all done electronicly with the use of the proper scan tool. There is nothing an owner can do to adjust the PIS, unless that owner has invested the 30k in a scan tool.
