here is a quick print of the 348 one, this took about 30 min. The switches fit perfect and it snapped back on to the door, want to adjust the radius in the corners to be a lot closer. Not bad for my first off. I sent it to the printer to run tonight in high quality, will run for 3 hrs. Want to compare the difference.

Does that same file work for the printers that print in aluminium or other metals. Once you have perfected the file, I guess it would work for any material.

    Looks good.
Yes I received your piece. I will see if I can get it scanned this weekend. I hope to have it printed by the end of next week. Printer is running non stop at this time for a couple of big proto type projects.

You are doing a great job and I don't mean to rain on that but what can you do to improve resolution or post process to have these parts resemble injection molded parts like OEM?

They are just too coarse as the native 3D print. Again, the work is very nice just would like to see something that represents OEM

There is a company called GT car parts who make these in aluminum. Phone 623 780 220. Part no 62158800A. Cost $60. Website gtcp.com although it's not listed on their site.

    I got one recently.

    Hope that helps.

Is that for the 348 or the 355? Can you post a pic.

Old and new. My understanding from the research I did was that it's the same part for both cars, but others should confirm. New one is power coated black.

That looks nice. The 355 is different. It only has two spots. Earlier in the thread you can see the difference in my pic.

    Hi Mark

Thanks for sending me your part. Had a little time yesterday to scan and model up the bezel you sent, came out pretty good. There area a couple of flows in the scan that I might have to fix but ran out of time. I should have time next week to print a sample up and check sizes. Also we have a new SLA printer coming in the next couple of weeks which should give me an almost perfect part. Will keep you guys posted.

Do you think you could print the seat pot gear/clutch as one piece to eliminate the failure of the spider seat pots? Definitely a marketable part and looks like you have the ability to do it.

So years later is there a source for the 1992 Ferrari 348 TS drivers door switch fixing plate? I see from the thread someone was working on this in January of 2016. Thanks, David

At the risk of resurrecting a seriously old thread, I don't suppose there's an STL file for the 348 switch panel kicking about? happy to make a donation for it, so I can print my own over here in the UK. Thx
