I had a separated shoulder. Couldn't raise my right arm over my shoulder. Excruciating pain. Maybe they can put some drugs in there. It was like someone sticking a knlfe in my shoulder. Took 6 weeks of rehab to get use of my arm. Throwing a ball was a real challenge.

Ruthlessberger is very tough. But l suspect he will have a major pain killer in his shoulder if he plays. I'm not a Doc so no idea about long term damage. He may not care...3 games to go. Gonna be tough to play three games IMVHO.

When l played HS football l played with sprained ankles every year. But l loved to play. The pain was nothing compared to my shoulder.

Mike those are two key injuries for Steelers and Denver is now a 6 point favorite.

Maybe. Pacman Jones said AB was faking it, and winked at him as he was being taken off the field. ;)
I've not seen any updates on how AB is progressing through the concussion protocol.

Regardless, without BR & AB, I can't see Denver losing, unless they can get coach Joey/Jason Porter to incite Aqib Talib to start poking people in the eye. :)

AB is doubtful. I suspect BR will play even if they have to perform a shoulder transplant on him.

Ben will definitely play. The bigger question is, how well he'll play? Of course, you can say the same about Peyton. 😉 I'm gonna try and make my picks as late in the week as possible.

At this point, he cannot throw the ball deep or with velocity.

That will be a factor in the frigid temps in Denver.

As for Antonio Brown - if he doesn't play, the Steelers have no chance.

    My picks...

New England - assuming rest of the team can keep of the synthetic Mary Jane

Arizona - Win one for the Honey Badger

Carolina - my wife said so (really!), she likes Cam

Denver - too many injuries for Pitt

If you read the post that was quoted, you will see that I am talking about Ben...that and the fact that it is already news that Peyton has not velocity, but can still throw deep (not that deep but deep enough)

This week I am picking 4 home teams. Can he do it again?

PIT and SEA should have lost last week but they were each gifted a win. Doubt if their rested opponents will be so generous this week.

    Hey now! ;)

I think that's gonna be an epic game, especially with Beast Mode back, and Seattle coming off that huge/lucky win. Carolina gets Stewart back. I do worry that Panthers have lost two of their best defensive backs...T

I really should change my PIT pick since they're missing their #1 RB and WR, and quite possibly QB. But I said I was sticking to my picks and I'm a man of my word .......... or maybe as my wife characterizes me, just plain stubborn! :D

Im leaving it. I heard on the radio that a columnist (can't remember the name) said that every time Roth has spoken very openly about his injury he's played brilliantly and when hes been very quiet about it, stunk it up. Just an interesting take.
