    I think Brian was saying that the tdc mark matches the dial indicator method as done by Ferrari, but doesn't match the piston stop method... I think...

    thats what i understood as well.... BUT where was the f-tech's eye as he set the mark? he may have been off.

    Bo,
    I believe you have set a topic benchmark for all of the DIY types on this forum in your analytic method. Yes there may be some who wish to reach higher up the wall if you take my meaning; however the outcome/improvement will probably be impossible to measure in real terms.

    What you have achieved is to galvanize the inputs of so many that have an opinion by coaxing it out in your 'aw shucks' kinda way with persistence. It has been a great thread to follow, well read, well said, well done.
