Sorry, my mistake, I was not clear. I was referring to previous F1 results (e.g. GP2 championship, etc.)

Deal done it seems. A bit sad we won't see Maldonado crash an F1 again but he might fit right in Formula E...

so, i guess the question now is young magnussen better than loldonado?

i think the switch in itself has saved the outfit hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars in spare parts.

Can you imagine if Maldonado decided he's moving to WEC? Given the number of laps those guys do, his opportunities for crashing are greatly increased! :D

    Watch out Mark Webber!

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I must say my GF and I are disappointed with this news. We always follow his results which usually aren't too good. I guess he's our dark horse fave.

You just never know what he's going to do at any race. Yes, usually crash but it's a source of entertainment for us.

"I will not go into the details of the contract," his (Maldonado) manager Nicolas Todt, the son of FIA president Jean Todt, is quoted by the French sports daily L'Equipe.

"But it was done in a friendly manner with Renault. They were fair with us," Todt added.

    Oh well that's alright then.......
