Folks, I have just bought a red 308GT4 (first registered Jan '75) and upon searching through the history discovered it had a colour change in 1978 from blue to red. Having a closer look around the car to try to find traces of the original colour I found these areas. It is obviously a light blue metallic but any guesses as to which one? Was there more than one available in 1974? The interior is black if that means anything... Cheers Jon Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Observers should be this blue metallic It seems dark but with good light is very dim. I'm sorry I translate with google Hello Image Unavailable, Please Login
That was my thought also. The car is due a repaint so I think I will return it to original. There are too many red ones around and the blue suits the shape well.
pretty sure it is a Blu Dino Metallic. Not 100% sure from the photos- If it has metallic flake in it then that may be your color. It goes from bright light blue in sun to a dark blue in shade like this photo (straight from camera and not touched up). Proper color for these. Image Unavailable, Please Login
F you mean the car's don't worry. That sorry aftermarket thing has been replaced with an Ansa. If you mean mine.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Al not only came through finding the Ansa but undid a lot of bodged work behind the old unit. What should have been a simple one hour job took the better part of two days. But certainly worth it. Edit: the old unit is available if anyone has a use for it.
I don't recall seeing it mentioned for GT4's, especially in the factory colors context. The only Verdes that have been listed are Verde Germoglio, Verde Medio, and Verde Pino.
Does anyone have some high quality pictures of a GT4 in verde pino that could be posted? There are a couple in this thread but not what I need. I'm trying to make a color decision for a repaint and would really appreciate it. Thank you. Jack
I loaned a local guy my color swatch which he used to paint this car. I dont have anything against the color, but he did a bunch of wierd things to the car which freaked me out! He got rid of the OEM sterring wheel, replaced with wood, original bertone badge tossed, replaced with wrong one, coco mats, chromed the wheels. He never even showed the car to me even though his work is 1 block from my shrine, as a matter of fact he never even visited THE shrine! HA Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi Juha & all who replied to you, Never heard of Celeste/Gainsborough on a 308GT4 before, was it another special order "246GT carry over colour" maybe, like Viola?
