    GLWS!

I picked up an '01 Camaro SS back in 2006 or 2007 with 14k original miles on it. Arctic White on Black Leather. All options except the dual/dual center exit exhaust. I still miss that car. Had 4.10 gears and full exhaust. Still pulled 29mpg on the freeway. Unfortunately, an intoxicated driver ran a red, then ran me off the on ramp and into a freeway sign which totaled the car.

The GM F-bodies can't be argued with. Very durable, except for maybe the 10 bolt rearend, but extremely well built otherwise.

This is so tempting!!! Love F-bodies, had a few of them before (still have one), but I already have too many cars.

If you wont abuse it and do a regular maintenance - it will last forever. Hard to find one in this perfect condition too... GLWS!

Sad to see this thread go on for so long. I had an 02 firehawk in sunset orange that I couldn't give away in 2012. I know someday we'll be kicking ourselves for not buying these up at reasonable prices.

Totally agree. Although I have zero interest in a car like this but if I had space to store it I'd buy it and forget about it until I could flip it for a nice profit.

There was a 25th Anniversary, like mine, turned in to be destroyed under the gas guzzler buy back program...I sure wish I had some parts off it before they crushed it!!

Book values on the F bodies is off a cliff....my car might follow them, were it not for the 6 speed manual...

    GLWS!

Hi, yes I still have the car. Clean title. No mods, I think it has 20,800 miles on it now. $18,500.
My 84 Ruf 911 restoration is almost done and it will be for sale. Want to go back and earn a Masters degree. :)

Had some PM's and then silence? Is the car over priced? I don't know, the car market is the wild west right now.
Look at what the early ram air cars are worth, and they made MORE of them than they did the 2002's.
Drive one of these 2002 WS6 6-speed cars and tell me stock 70's cars are better.
I think you will be surprised. :)

Sorry for the bump- I am staying firm at $18,000 gentlemen.

    Thank you.

I'm on several Fbody groups and forums and I think that most of the people on them would see the car as overpriced- but I think that's just a function of that demographic. Most (in those groups) don't have a lot of disposable cash for one that's commanding a higher price. A very mildly modded/stock, low mileage WS6 LS1 can be had for 10-12K; and a run of the mill higher mileage with wear & significant mods/modding anticipated go for 3-9K. I think your car is best marketed to collectors/enthusiasts who see the value of what the car really is and its collectability years from now. I think its a great car & priced where it should be for what it is and hope it goes to someone who appreciates it as much as you.
