    Maybe a trained attack eagle got it: Let?s Not Force Eagles to Fight Rogue Drones

    Top end drones all now typically get both height and airport proximity limits set to prevent operation affecting planes..

    (They take it a bit too far IMHO and limit height no matter how remote you might be though.. not great if you want to do cliff/mountain shots where no plane is ever going to be)

    He was an absolute legend.
    He has the Guinness world record for having flown more types of Aeroplanes than anybody else in history.
    I think it was he, who perfected the curved approach for the F4 Corsair for the British navy after the Yanks said the F4 was useless for carrier work because of its horrific stall characteristics.
    He landed a land based Mosquito on a carrier!!! WTF!
    Flew all the latest German jets and Helicopters as the allies overran all the occupied aerodromes with zero training, 262's, Arado's etc.
    I cannot remember if it was Eric or Alex Henshaw (Chief test pilot for Supermarine)
    that clocked mach.95 in a Spitfire in a dive.
    His list of achievements will never be equalled.

    A couple of interesting aircraft visiting Australia in the next few months - Iron Maiden's custom-liveried 747 will be bringing them and their gear for the Australian leg of a world tour in the first half of May, Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne/Adelaide/Perth. More excitingly (for me), the one and only An-225 is due to visit Perth twice in April, exact dates currently unknown.
