Very unusual the 3 point line for each game never moved the entire week. Even the square money on NE did not budge it. O/U 45 for Denver game, 47.5 for Carolina.
    Sitting these two out.

Hi Peter. Just seeing this. I am in one pool that just picks winners and I took NE and Carolina so I was 50%. I lost more Nevada money betting against Caro this year so I at least learned that lesson. Home team underdogs (Denver in this case) are always worth a close look when wagering ATS as historically they cover something like 56% of the time.

    I have to take Den.

Car has not played against a defense like Den. Cam has never been to a Super Bowl.

Big questions: how will Manning and the Den O line handle the Car defense? Den needs a running game or else they will lose.

Apparently Manning has had an excellent two days of practice.

I've been thinking about the game the last two weeks, and initially started with taking Carolina because they have been dominant in the playoffs.

However, I've been thinking long and hard, and I am now leaning towards Denver. I think their defense played lights out vs Brady and the Pats in the AFCCG.

    I am going with Denver.

I'm with you Tom. I choose Carolina. I think Riverboat Ron is going to dial up a helluva game plan.

I will be happy for him if he does win, even though I would love to see Panthers bring a championship back to the state of NC....it's been way too long since a professional sports team has had as much success as they have (the 2005 Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup but it's a waaaaays back from there).

Hoping Carolina wins, but wouldn't mind seeing Manning go out on top.
