This may help? Cant guarantee it's original but it is on a '75 and it isn't new! Cotton book talks of "aluminized" box.

Really nice combination - my favorite. Guards red makes 911 so perfect..

Close up…H4s with missing body colored trim rings.

I think it may be possible to visually determine if RoW 3-liter Turbos have optional bumper shocks by checking the spacing between the snorkels and the bumper's plastic molding leading edge. The bumper shocks appear to increase the spacing a few centimeters on RoW Turbos and U.S. Turbos (standard).

Can someone please tell me the correct tyre sizes for a 76 turbo with 15 inch wheels. Which brand would you recomend that has a suitable period tread pattern?

A year ago i bought a 76' 930 was in pretty bad shape,it had all the “upgrades” done for that period.
Slant-nose bodyworks etc, what stood out where the metal wings whit flip-up lights and the rear intake cooling which where all metal.
Made me wondering if this was done from the factory.
I have seen a few early turbos especially 76’ that all had this kit,i think all where done by this company:https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:porsche_911SC_Slantnose_1982_1.jpg
I know personally of 3 that they did and i think Jamie’s yellow car was also done by them.
Now i do not live near LA,but it might be worth the time to check on this company if you need body parts to go back to original.
The company closed down sometime ago,i think the owner is in his late sixties.
    His son maintains this Wikipage
I am pretty convinced they converted a lot of turbo to slant-noses,wonder what they did whit the original parts..

For MY76, the tyre size is 205/50VR15 (front) and 225/50VR15 (rear). I have heard that Pirelli will make the old P7 thread pattern again, but I do not know if it will happen.

It would be great if Pirelli made the old P7 tread pattern again.

The sizes you listed are for optional Pirelli P7's for RoW '75/76 model years with the 930/32 gearbox. Standard fitment was 215/60VR15 and 185/70VR15 for Dunlop or optional Pirelli CN36 tires with the 930/30 gearbox.

You may be right for the MY76 US Turbo carrera, but the RoW 930 in MY76 had the Series 50 tyres without choice. In MY75 both sizes were avalable.
