    Well all I can say is. THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE WORKS. This will be invite ONLY. That being said there should not be any issues like there are now. I will keep everyone updated.

    It's not Gabe's car. It belongs to the guy who used to have the matte black Aventador, and the white Huracan with black and red accents.

    Can you hint as to what the requirements for an invite would be? Is it going to be an exotic owner gathering only? Or will there still be a chance for the public to get in?

    This will be a private event. Some where owners can go that appreciate the cars. This is by invitation only. The point is to keep the burn outs and accidents at CC.

    I'd trend towards being more of a regular if it was a more curated crowd. Unfortunate that it doesn't take much to turn CC into a madhouse.

    I'm still very surprised that the organizers allow people to stand in that area near the exit. like the other wrecks, this could have turned out very badly for pedestrians watching from that vantage point...very thankful nobody has been injured or worse, though I feel it is just a matter of time.

    I used to attend C&C regularly in the early days but pretty much stopped...went back once last year and that reminded me why I don't attend anymore. Shawn - I look forward to your alternative!

    I have been to the one in Santa Barbra. They are very direct about their intentions. If you drive a car worth coming send me a PM or email at [email protected]. Be sure to include a picture of the car you will be driving. I am sure we will have a few stragglers will show. If they do. My reply will be "The lot is closed". We will be sending out invites this week.

    Does each car club or make decide what gets in the door? I remember registering my cars with the guys that run C and C in Dallas. Got laminated passes in the mail. That idea died real fast for some reason.

    I apologize I got a little busy. We have a group of guys that are all car guys. It's a simple thumbs up or down. No offense to anyone of course. The point is to get cars out there that you don't see everyday. If you have a car send me a pic. I will run it by everyone. Mark the calendar for March 16th. Yes, there will be someone at the entrance to turn cars away. This isn't personal it's just a car thing.

    Is the new invitation only event on the 19th taking the place of the regular 1st Sat. C&C? Facebook shows that C&C is on for next Saturday in Dallas.
