599 added to stable

Today closed deal on '09 599. Car is a beast! Chassis 165962 with 14K miles. Blue TDF, beige interior, blu scuro carpet, blu scuro dash and upper dash, and steering wheel, Daytona style electric seats, carbon fiber driving zone and lower cabin, leather headliner and rear shelf, Bose HiFi w/cd changer and Alpine head unit, red tach, parking sensors, 20" monolictics, capristo bypass valve with remote. Dealer completed 3rd year service and new clutch.

While it has tool kit there is no spare or jack. Are those missing or did the 599 not come equipped with those?

 

Congrats on the new car and I wish you good luck with it. However, without pics, it didn't happen.

As far as the spare, I know on my 612 there was either a choice of a spare or tire repair kit. Did you check if you have the repair kit?

Spectacular. Love the color. Drive it well

 

Ed- The spare tire and jack kit were optional and not many buyers took that option. Ate up a lot of trunk space and there was difficulty finding a space for the much larger flat tire and wheel.

 

That...is a pretty 599. Scream it.

 

You may find this amusing, ever single 599 that came to South Africa was equipped with the spare tire as standard...why I have no idea considering there is no space for the standard wheel if one would be daring enough to contemplate changing a flat tyre on the side of the road.

 

Congratulations, in particular for the lovely color. I would have clearly prefered a tdf or Pozzi blue, but unfortunately these colors seem rather rare. So mine is black only .

Congrats on your 599 - fantastic color.

 

Get yourself 2 "Emergency Tire Sealants" that come in a can - this and having an electrical air pump (which is in the tool kit) is the best "backup" to have in case you ever have an issue.

Would you consider swapping against a beautiful and perfect 599 in nero/cuio? I predict the value development of a blue car to underperform, compared with nero.
