LOL I wasn't trying to further spread any internet rumours, I hope I didn't offend any F1 owners out there.
Hi Everyone, Thank you for all of your inputs. Even though I had the deposit on the spider, I pulled the plug and put the deposit on the coupe instead. I now had put deposit on the coupe and arranged for the PPI at Norwood. If you have anymore suggestions, please feel free to let me know. The PPI will be done after F1 Throw out Bearing and other minor issues being fixed at dealer's own shop first. I thought it is better for me to do PPI "after" they are done with their work so the PPI will represent truly what kind of car I am getting. Please feel free to add any input for me to look out to make sure I am getting a good car. Thank you very much in advance!!!!! Steven
Steven, There is a very knowledgeable group of 348/355 owners here in the LA area. Let us know if you go forward with this one and come on out and join us.
Steven, This is a great car. I've driven it and I knew the owner in California before it was sold to an owner here on fchat in December of 2013. Here's the link when it was delivered to him in Arkansas. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/431070-market-no-more.html That owner hasn't been on fchat for almost a year so I don't know what happened to him.
Thank you Brent. I was wondering do you still know the original owner? The service records only go back to 2004, I would love to get more info for the records that are previous of that time...
I can make some service records up for you if you like. But honestly if the PPi turns out right, what does previous service history matter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I haven't talked to him in years and only knew him as a friend of a friend. He is a doctor and last I heard he's into Lambo's now. If memory serves me correctly 2004 was when he purchased the car originally. I'm sure if there were any records they for sure would have come with the car. I know Eugenio did the major and maintained the car for him when he owned it, so you know the work was done correctly. If you need a major I would reach out to him since he knows the car.
I can't wait. I am so anxious and waiting for them to fix the F1 Throw out before I can get the PPI done at Norwood. However, it just came to my attentions that several fellow FCer are not too happy with the dealer I am working with, RAC Performance. With Brent's help, I am thinking that I should be getting a good car. However, with the negative comments from some of the FCer, I am really worried now. Any thoughts?
Certainly a great looking car. Love the color combo. I'll skip commenting on RAC because I have no firsthand experience to contribute but here's wishing you well on the PPI at Norwood. Perhaps another metroplex area owner could lay eyes on it for you as well?
Thank you Mike. Yes, if anyone who can do that, it would be great!!! I will be forever in debt to you... Steven
RAC just finish fixing the F1 Throw out and did the yearly maintenance. It is sent to Norwood for PPI this afternoon. Here are some pictures to share... I just found out that Fuel Block recall wasn't done. Anyone know if I can just take it to any dealer for a free service to take care of the recall?
Sometimes it has been done, but Ferrari NA has no record..As in the case of my car.. Was done by Ferrari of Newport Beach, but Ferrari sent me a notice that it needed to be done..
