Let's see your unique seats and discuss how comfortable they are. Mine are factory race seats (L) in black leather with red stitching. They're the 4th best feature in my car (3 pedals, spider, race exhaust are 1-3). They are super comfortable and provide very good support at the track. I suspect that for my size M would be better (6'1" 180lbs) since I do slide around a bit at the track but for day to day they are fantastic. I do get some lower back and hamstring pain after sitting in them for more than 2 hours straight. A quick stop to stretch usually fixes that. I'll post some pics soon. I'm still looking for a folding race seat that will actually be lower than stock, so far every seat I have found will be almost exact same in seat hight after you add slider rails and universal bracket. Pics would be great
I need to get good shots from up front. Here's a couple from the profile. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would like to buy the largest and lowest seat available. I think that the Evo III seat from Sparco is the largest I can find online, they are also not very expensive. Has anyone put Evo seats in their car? If so do you like them?
Not new pictures but the factory 360 or 430 Challenge racing seats are about as low as you can go. You literally sit on the floor if you want to Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
About to install these seats and Sabelt harnesses within the next months- sadly Sparco Europe doesn`t sell the org. seat brackets for the Ferrari 360, so I have to order it from Sparco USA instead. They have yet to respond to my emails... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Factory 458 large cf sport seats in my 360 Modena. Couldn't find any decent 360 cf race seats so these were a great alternative. Lighter, lower and fit like a glove. Bolt right in to 360 or 430.
I like those 458 sport seats.. I'd definitely put those in my car if I didn't have racing seats already in my car.
I came across this that I thought was interesting. If you need to do something with the old seats. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had Sparco Evo II's in my 360 for years. They were a pain to mount; I had to fabricate bracketry to make them fit. I'm 6'4", and they were pretty comfortable. I went back to the stock seats, and while easier to get in and out of, pinched my back and weren't comfortable past 15 minutes in the car. Stock 430 seats were better, but still had the same problem, and headroom was tight in both. The seats in my scud are awesome. Great support, pretty comfortable, and good headroom.
That is fantastic. Can you go into detail more on how the installation went? "Bolt right in" as in no modification needed at all using the 458 seat rails and brackets?
See thread below. There are two sets of bolt holes/threads from the factory. My factory Daytonas were mounted to the outer holes and these mount to the inner holes (different sized bolt). The only other thing I had to do besides pick up new bolts from my local hardware store was to remove the seatbelt receptacles from the Daytonas and mount to new seats. This was one large bolt which bolted right up to the new ones. The drivers side seatbelt receptacle did have wiring that turns the seatbelt light off on the dash. If you have power seats there are three wires and I had to unhook one of them (for the seat motors). If your seats are manual it should be plug and play. It really is like one wrench out of four rating as far as difficulty. The hardest part is finding the seats! 458 Carbon Fiber Sport Seats http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=504555

Will be"copying" a friend of mine, that has his Sabelt seats and 4 point harnesses already installed.
Does that mean to the rear wall, or a harness bar, roll bar, or roll cage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Be careful in using backing plates on the firewall. I ended up making a harness bar that tied into the factory seatbelt mounts because I didn't feel comfortable mounting them at the firewall. If I remember correctly, most of the firewall is pretty thin aluminum, and where they did have some bulk put the belts at a bad angle. It's bad to have harness attached below shoulder level. You can read more about positioning on Schroth's site; they make harnesses. Also, be care attaching steel plates to aluminum without an insulator; will cause galvanic corrosion. David
First F430 had the Creama Standard seats with red stitching. Embossed headrest. Fully electric and heated. However I'm 6ft 4 and they are awfully high and never fitted my back comfortably. New car has the carbon back race seats. Super low literally on the floor. A lot better for me. And though a bit tight initially on sit down. Actually a lot more comfortable and supportive! Plus they are Red leather. The only adjustment is back angle and forward and back slide Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
