Started shopping for a 599 and although I'm familiar with the asking prices, selling prices are a different ball game. Would like to know the real market, if you have bought one recently and care to share the price you paid it would really help me out. Feel free to pm me to keep it private if you'd like, please include yr, miles, color and options. Or perhaps you want to sell? Im all ears! Fyi, would really love a blue 599.

    thx

When it is sitting in the garage: too much.

When I am driving it: a bargain.

Tough topic. It was brought up in the owners forum, most private of private in Ferrarichat, most of the year anyway, and very few people responded even there. It's just a little taboo because every owner crosses the bridge at one time or another. Just feels better to not kiss and tell I guess, but I did post some of my purchase prices there. I think it's been hashed over plenty in generalities publicly, what to offer.

Even if someone posted their info here, it probably wouldn't help you. There are so many variables involved that the chance they would match your circumstances would be remote. Aside from all those variables, a deal that was good 6 months or a year ago may or may not be good today.

When you find the car you want, negotiate your best deal. If the deal doesn't feel right, move on to the next one. Not on my Ferrari, but on another car I purchased, I negotiated 5 deals on 5 different cars before I settled on one. In that way I knew I was getting the best, or at least close to the best, deal I was going to get at that time.

we use to have very active thread in Silver or Rossa where people would post the actual price they paid, I haven't seen it active in many years and couldn't even find it.

It's probably more important to get the car with the right spec for you than worrying about the last few grand unless you just enjoy the chase and not actually pulling the trigger. I think it will be much more challenging to find the car you want since you are looking for a fairly rare color. No one knows what tomorrow brings, just ask Anthony Scalia...........except he's not saying much these days.

a buddy just sold an immaculate 07 pozzi/tan for 140k. it had I believe 18k miles. he added the hgte or whatever it's called package. the car cldnt have been more cared for. depending on the hgt package id say ur looking at 140 to 180 for a clean car and the lower the miles the higher the price.

As I am in the market for a 599 now, this information is incredibly valuable. I have been focusing on 2 diff cars that have 5k-7k mile with HGTE (One dealer and one factory) . Based on the last entry, is 200k a reasonable number?
