Fender badges? - Frankly, it's all a big fuss over nothing really!

The way some people get upset about them, you'd think the owners of the cars had shoe-horned Pontiac Fiero engines into them!

(A similar fuss is made by some people when it comes to BMW's and ///M badges! - Even though BMW happily fix ///M badges to their Sports models, certain owners still get their knickers in a twist over it! )

IMHO think carb cars would look better without emblem to keep the classic look where as later injection models should have emblem.

The one on the left is carb car with round indicator and no emblem, the rest are QV with rectangular indicators and emblem. All look cool anyhow.

And what about 328s, then? Euros 328 went back to round indicators...

Locations of indicators shifted back, the space is not wide enough for rectangular indicators I guess.

It was meant as a joke...
As said many times before, shields have no right to be on any road Ferrari produced before the serie speciale of the 355 in 1999, when they were, for the first time, offered by the factory as an option. Before that one, they are irrelevant on a road Ferrari.
They are, however, relevant on any Ferrari intended for competition (any form of...) which
may have shields, that is why the 288 GTO and F40 did receive them.

That said, shields are indeed a sin against OEM on any road Ferrari before 1999, BUT a very minor one. My GTB has shields (not put there by me) my GTS does not.
