Wondering how many 80/85 930s on this forum? Seems just a handful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you were looking to buy an '80-'85 RoW now, would you consider a gray market car brought into the US when new, one that has never left Europe, or an unmodified car imported to the US after it had become EPA/DOT legal? I assume the gray market cars are less powerful and the hardest to sell?
Id consider a U.S. car if it was never federalized. My preference is a Canadian car from new. So far all the CDN 930's are high mileage cars. Currently there is a nice although 130k kilometers Euro spec 1980 930 for sale in Vancouver. Asking an optimistic $195k CDN. 1980 Porsche 930 Turbo for $195,000 in PORT COQUITLAM | autoTRADER.ca I can even live with the seats. Seldom do I see them in the U.S. that nice between 1980 to 85.
