Hi All, This is what came with our '85 QV Euro. I was told these were originals and at the time looked proper enough... Funny the pliers look correct, but blue. No markings at all. All the wenches are combo with Ferrari on one side except for the 14mm with is a closed end and says UTEMA. The spark plug wrench looks correct-ish and is 14mm. The snaps on the bag don't have any writing on them, but the female does have the ridges. May be missing one screw driver? They are dark, translucent red, but with no markings at all. Is this an older replica? The bag feels heavy and old. Quality is ok. Looks just like the jack bag except it has leather straps. Looks like both were rumbling around the back a bit. Yes,those are correct. The one "off brand" is required by the changed approach,to the spark plugs. The closed end wrench fits the hex shank. I have not personally seen blue pliers, but would not discount that they DID come with the bag! nerofer?? blue pliers?? I say "legit".......
Nice looking kit. The plier grip color and shape look wrong to me. Could have been a substitution at some point, even from the factory.
The toolkit pictured is correct. The Blue handle pliers were supplied by the factory for all QV's and Mondial QVs produced in 1984....the 1983 and 1985 year cars had red handle pliers....another Ferrari production "quirk"! Grim.
Yes Alan, blue pliers are "legit", although: - my knowledge of toolkits isn't as extended as the information provided by "Grim reaper Tr", and I wouldn't have known that it was a "year of production" peculiarity; one learn something everyday, and I will go to bed slightly (very slightly) less dumb today. - I would have agreed with "i-velocita" that the shape of the plastic handles looks slightly odd - to me -, especially the "finger guards", but again I submit to "Grim reaper Tr". Wrenches are very probably Utema, even if not marked; anybody reading the thread has a set of "Utema" wrenches, with all wrenches marked "Utema"? Late models QV had screwdrivers either "plain", without the white "Ferrari" script on the handle, or with the white "Ferrari" script on the handle. The small flat blade screwdriver is missig from the toolkit, unfortunately it is one of the most difficult to find... Rgds
The snaps, "Fiocchi *italy*" is on the back of the male stud, you can see only one of them inside the pouch near the 17/16mm wrench. The pouches vary in their stitching and snap positions. Pedro, Are you looking for: - the tool roll (= the pouch for the tools)? Well, in that case it is not made in leather, but vinyl... - the owner's manual pouch? For the car books (owner's manual, warranty card, network directory...). In that case, unless you are already absolutely sure on which type of pouch you are looking for, you should have a look at the posts dedicated to that topic. Rgds

Yep; leather would be very nice, but that would not be OEM. After all, these cars are only "fast FIATS", so leather would be out of character... Rgds
Not complete, missing the emergency window crank; early 1980 screwdrivers type, polytools wrenches: so would be best on an early production injected car, say 1981. Rgds
Literally it is complete according to the owner's manual or the spare parts catalogue. Only place I found the window crank info is the owner's manual section for door controls but not in the tool kit section for both documents
Not sure where it supposed to be stored, but the Emergency Crank is definately part of "complete" tools. IMO I usually found it added to the soft tool roll. Damn, at $3K I should have considered my tools a better investment that the car!!
This is exactly what I have in my '84 308 GTS QV (US). As such, there are at least half a dozen that have stated this as what they see as OE for their respective 308s. These are basically 'mint', so I wiped them down with lambskin coated with "RIG" (which is the best protectant I know of and is used on $100K double rifles!). So, here's the deal... - 1984 (June if memory serves) 308 QV US Model - Tool Kit exactly like Jeff's = 'Blue' handled pliers, 14mm spanner (wrench) by 'Utema' with all others marked "Ferrari". My take on the 14mm spanner is that it is the only one of the set that has a closed end... May explain the difference in manufacturer... - Window tool missing the plastic bit at the end (DANG, now where did THAT get to) - Spark Plug tool has the insulating insert The thread had me worried that my set was mismatched until reading the later posts... Agreed that getting into 'cardboard sparkplug box' details would likely be grounds for having us all committed to the funny farm, but it is exactly this kind of painstaking attention to detail that differentiates us... right? Both of mine are Bosch W 6 DS without boxes by the way and I have a total of four belts (likely the plugs and additional belts were put there by Norwood, as he usually went 'above and beyond' when servicing)...
