I think I'm going to order a speed sensor, i.e., pulse generator for my 1995 2.7 F355 from Eurospares. Apparently this part number crosses over Ferrari 149095 if you switch the plug. I took mine apart to try to repair but I broke some of the tiny little wires and can't tell where they go. I can see that it had a bad resistor.

The best price I found state side was $282 from Ricambi. The Maserati part is 86 pounds plus about 45 pounds shipping from Euro spares. So with the exchange rate of about $1.43 I guess I'm saving a little over $100.

Just wondering if anyone stateside has ordered from them and how it went?

    Brian,

I've ordered many, many things from them over several years and never had any problems at all. They even allowed me to return some items they had made a mistake on at their expense. Bottom line, you should have no reservations ordering from them.

You mentioned 45 pounds shipping. That seems very high unless you are paying for overnight service. I've never paid anything near that price, even on orders of several thousand dollars.

I too have ordered from Eurospares, great service and prices. That said, I have ordered a few packages over the last six months with shipping at or slightly below that quote.

I've ordered from them as well, and also Superformance. Never had a problem with either but I tend to go to Ricambi first.

It'***** or miss but Eurospares has some great closeout specials.

I think the mentioned rate is for FedEx Express. Eurospares also have an option by Royal Mail Signed For which, according to their table, is just about GBP 13 for half a kilo international shipping. However, it is possible that they will not ship by Royal Mail to some countries. Contact them and enquire.
