Interesting that he spoke entirely in terms of emotion. I doubt if he would have been happy with the sound of the current F1s.

I think the trade off between sound and performance might have been acceptable if he wants to compete with manufacturers like McLaren and their turbo v8s.
Mr. Enzo Ferrari built road-cars to finance racing. He is talking about race-cars in the video.... there are many generations of Ferrari road-cars that would have left the factory with a different sound scheme if that was the primary goal of the road cars.
