Gated and Gorgeous Rosso Corsa 348ts - #52 of 100 - 15,160 miles - Asking $109,900 Pampered and protected says it all. Garage kept and covered Ferrari that has been meticulously maintained and detailed. The 1st owner purchased this rare numbered (52 0f 100) Ferrari 348 in September 1993 from Classic Ferrari of Richardson Texas for $105,500.00 + Special Added Luxury tax of $7,550.00 +Texas Sales tax $5,718.75 = $118,768.00 for this incredibly rare 348. He kept and drove the car sparingly until 2000 when it was sold to another local resident and Ferrari enthusiast with 4,819 miles. Dennis Collins spotted the car and found the condition was as close to new as he had seen on a 348. I purchased this beauty from Dennis transported via enclosed trailer to Naples, FL and immediately lavished her with over $10,000 this past August. Complete engine out service including all belts, bearings, plugs, engine seals, cam seals, all fluids, new oxygen sensors, AC evac & recharge, new air/oil/fuel filters, water pump, brakes, new tires, clutch flywheel cleaned, new AP clutch plate, new seals, 200cc K grease and new triple seals. Service performed by the renowned Eric at F1 Imports in Naples, FL. His words "this is the finest example both cosmetically and mechanically I have seen in any Ferrari of this age." He has seen more than his fair share of well kept examples and rates this highest. I have complete photo history of the engine out service. Just showed her at Cars on Fifth and the attention she received really shocked me. 360's, 430's, and 458's all around me (not another 348 to be found). I saw more photos taken of this 348 than any of the nearby cars. It's happening... the public is giving the 348 the love it deserves. This means increasing values. Leather manual and toolbox, original car cover and bag are included along with 2 original keys, original Serie Speciale sales brochure and all service records. Everywhere you look she is clean, factory stickers and badges still hold a brand new look (we have all seen how the stickers peel and fade when left dirty or get wet). Sticky parts all resolved, paint looks amazing with great gloss and depth and no swirls (some small chips at nose expected), leather and dash are excellent, never painted or in an accident of any kind, clean carfax (no stories). You do not want a car with stories to explain come sale time. Known issues: 1- glove box strut to hold the lid open is dead (doesn't bother most and from what I have seen it is a $20 or so part, I just haven't gotten to it 2- super small ding in rear fender (most don't notice, I do). Come see her, send your designee to have a look, schedule a PPI, call Eric at F1. This car is being marketed in multiple locations and I reserve the right to end this auction early if it sells elsewhere. Gorgeous benchmark car, Chris. Sorry to see you selling. Do you happen to know where the insulation of the bottom of the engine cover came from? It looks a lot closer to original than most of the replacements I've seen. GLWS.
I was wondering about the insulation myself, mine is still basically perfect but then it only has 1900 miles. I was wondering if his was original or a very nice reproduction.
Insulation is the best reproduction my Ferrari guy Eric at F1 in Naples has ever seen. It is worth replacing in any 348 simply because it is so much better than the original foam that degrades as much from years as from miles driven. Once degrading starts, the original foam drops dust and "crumbs" into your engine compartment and just looks bad. Any more insulation questions, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to share further.
