I was wondering, but thought that my understanding is incorrect and due to the fact that English is not my mother tongue ... But if he is doing that himself, as I understand him, it might not be that expensive ... Cheers, Bernhard P.S.: I am just troubling what might happen, if I would present a gift coupon for a remodelling to my wife ... . Presumably no more of this magnificent home made pizza for decades ...
Where is that jig saw when you need it? You guys made me laugh; Nice start to the morning. For clarity, having the house remodeled at the wife's request. OK, I will get a lift out of it as well
Replacing all of the fluids is probably bad. Exchanging some fluids with her, well, .... that sounds good.
It just seems that auto technology is leapfrogging at a much faster pace than in years past. You could've bought a car in the late 70s, traded it in 9 or 10 years later for a new car that was just mechanically incrementally 'better' but not leaps and bounds better. That gap narrowed a bit through the years, but now it seems that a 5 year old car is almost over the hill. When today's pony cars and Vettes are beating performance targets of exotics of 5 years ago, at a 1/3 or a 1/4 of the price, then you know automotive performance and technology is moving at dizzying speeds. If you are an automotive nut, and you don't have the option to keep a stable of 4+ vehicles, then it's hard to stay satisfied with a 6 or 10 year old vehicle.
It makes no sense to buy a new Ferrari, unless you are super-wealthy. I have bought 3 used ones so far. If you are loaded, then what you are really going for is the "new car Ferrari experience"; along with the chance to spec out the car exactly as you wish. If your clever, you could spec it out in a way that could make the car quite valuable someday. I mean, just think about the idiot who would actually order a new 599 with MT.
