Just ordered mine too. Its a shame Otto dont think in release more Ferrari`s, I was liking the good price and they could do some more beautifull cars like this superb 308.

    Waiting for February eheheheh

Anyone yet received their 308 from Otto? February is drawing to a close and I haven't received my order yet.

    Honestly it's a strange company.
Like said, I never pre-order anything, and now, that the model was released it is immediately marked 'sold out' on their website.
My e-Mail with a question regarding this, remained unanswered.

    Best Regards
    Martin

Got mine today. Overall it looks very nice. However, I got the impression that the wheelbase seemed a bit long. But I measured it and it's dead on. The rear tires look a tad too small, but I guess that's just my imagination too.

My fear that the model would be too large like some other models by Otto turned out to be unfounded.

Paint and details look fine. The few things I like less are the front grill and side window frames. They look a little too toy like. But they don't distract too much from the overall looks. I'd recommend it to any 308 and/or rally enthusiast.

Either you wait till it's again in their own shop at roughly EUR 70.00 or you buy from some ebay-chiseler, who already offer them from EUR 100.00 upward.

I've recently sold two Otto models that I had for at least a year for a little over what I paid for them. Either I'm a good salesman, or 40-50 euros is not realistic. :)

Here are some quick and dirty pictures I took today. I tried to show the lack of detail in the front grill and the flatness of the window frames. They are just painted onto the windows, so no photo etch or something like that.

indeed very nice. Seems, that I missed it.
I received the following answer from them today. Kind of weird, since it was 'sold out' on the very first day of delivery:

    "Hello Martin,

The Ferrari 308 is unavailable because it worked very well and there is no stock now

Models « sold out”, we do not have this model anymore at all…

Your best bet will be to keep an eye on the website (Ottomobile home - Ottomobile) and subscribe to the Newsletter.
    Club: http://club-ottomobile.com/fr/login?back=my-account""

Seems, that they only accept pre-orders, when nobody has seen the model yet. Since all other February releases are marked as 'sold out' as well. This is the strangest company philosophy I ever saw.
Will wait till the hype is over.

    Best Regards
    Martin

    Ooooh I hope so.
Maybe the Oliofiat, Entremont or Panasonic would suit me! Fingers crossed.

Got mine today. It's a very nice model indeed and the size is perfect, proportions all seem correct. Can't believe it took so long for someone to make a 1/18 308 GR4. Unusual that the electric warning decals need applied by yourself, wonder why this is. If more liveries are released I may grab them too. Would be nice to see the Entremont, VS OLIO FIAT, Alitalia and Martini liveries.

    Finally got mine too.
I do not purchase a lot of 1:18 any more, but as a 308 GTB owner, Tour de France Auto fanatic and having seen this car several times in action, I had to have it.
A simple non-Gr.4 street version out of these -modified- molds would beat all HW or Kyosho models in appearance.

    Best Regards
    Martin
