And how does he find it? Easy to live with? No overheating issues? Works well with the CIS? Good bang for the buck?

 

No issue whatsoever, car ran like a daily driver. He said he can now keep up with the 355 guys which I think is pretty nice.

 

Ooh... tempting...

 

A couple of wasted opportunities there! But doesn't look like a very expensive mod.

I don't know...but I saw a 328 with MoTec and multiple throttle bodies, and the difference was immense.

 

I have a hi-boost turbo Euro 308 QV. I am not sure I can remember all the mods.
Complete engine overhaul
JE pistons w/SS compression rings
Ringed cylinder liners, ringed intake plenium (steel inserts)

Did it for weight reduction (I have all the original air horn parts)
P.S. I have removed almost 300lbs from this car, the difference
on the track is AMAZING! Also have a lightweight (15lb) battery.

 

I'd love to put 17" wheels on, but Compomotive TS-17s are unobtainium. Talking of going too far, I'm still humming and hahing over a supercharger.

 

one of many mods, 78 308 carbs replaced with 4 Borla TBI units and electromotive ECU.
I cant attach a pic, my attachments are exceeded, how do I delete my previous attachments?

 

I've just got a couple of extra gauges that Bob Norwood installed.

For some strange reason, my 308 seems to go a lot faster than other QV's I've driven...
