I placed an order too - thanks for the product info. Interesting the detailer at Karosserie told me he uses Sprayway Glass Cleaner on alcantara, but makes me nervous to think about putting an alcohol based cleaner on the alcantara. This looks like a safe bet to try.

Tried Sonax today. Quite happy with the results, although my alcantara seats were not dirty to start with and I just wanted to check it out. I probably should have followed the instructions more closely, but all ended up fine...

Since I just wanted a quick wipe-down, after shaking the container I went to lightly spray the seats and found what came out was globs of foam rather than a 'spray'. Taking a terry cloth to the foam and brushing the seats, I was left with 'stains' where the initial globs rested. Dampening the terry cloth and then re-wiping the seats took care of the glob 'stains', and brushing the seats afterwards with a soft brush really made them look great. Plus the stuff smells nice. Next time I will dampen the alcantara first, then pray the Sonax on a damp cloth and brush the seats with the cloth rather than spraying Sonax directly on the seats. If I was working with soiled seats I would probably follow their instructions and apply a bunch more foam directly onto the seats, rub it in with a brush, etc. Overall happy with the product.

I used a brush intended for shoes - basically a shoe-shine brush, very soft.

Thx, my seats are light tan leather with alcantara inserts, they look pretty good for 10 years old. I just want to keep them up.
