Hi guys, just a quick question, my 308 QV has the sleek mirrors with the Prancing Horse emblem on it and I want to change these to the Vitaloni style aftermarket Californian version. The reason being the electric mirrors are always giving me grief and I want to change to manual mirrors. My question is this: will the assembly holes line up? I really do not want to drill into the panel thanks in advance...
I think there is an ebay seller in the UK that sell the same mirrors but are manually adjusted.. If you do remove your old mirrors and replace them I would be interested in buying them off you should you want to sell them..
Hi Mike, Yes what I really like is manually adjusted mirrors, the ones I have cause me so much grief. I like the California model but I do not want to drill holes into the body panel. So I am not sure what to do now...
Any body shop can plug the original holes, paint it, and drill the new holes for the new side mirrors if you don't mind altering the originality.
These are the ones I'm referring to.. Ferrari 308 328 Wing Mirrors Pair | eBay looks like they will bolt straight on
Those may fit if you have the stock rectangle mirrors. If you are swapping the California style mirrors out though I doubt these will fit as the base is different. Ask the seller to measure the base and see if it's the same size as yours.
I think the OP has Euro qv mirrors.. I beleieve the ebay mirrors are the same only in a manual adjust version
Hi Maurice these mirrors look nice. Do you know if they are they manually adjustable or electronic? Also where abouts in Sydney are you? I am in Sydney too, near Bondi Junction....
Yes I'm pretty certain they're not electric and at a minimum manual adjust outside the car rather than inside.. They look to be a direct replacement or close enough to it for Euro Qv and 328 mirrors. I'm located in Haberfield, next to Leichhardt.
Great i will look into these, thank you. When my car is back on the road I will drive out to Leichardt and we can grab a coffee and talk all things 308
