I've been listening to my TW albums ever since . . .

 

I have yet to pick up TW but will eventually, it is good times music. As a big Harrison and Lynne fan I must have worn out 3 cassettes of both Cloud Nine and ELO's Greatest Hits back in '87.

I am going to do anything in my power to make one of the shows, ELO is on my "bucket list".

 

I'm glad I bought the Whitford/St. Holmes LP when it came out - Kind of like a rough Sammy Hagar without support, but that was to be expected with corporate pulling strings for Aerosmith & Nugent cash cows. Though I'd happily listen to the LP if I still had it, aging ears means I'm not going to re-buy as CD or Download.

Understandable that all parties did what they had to do, as BW & DSH needed to get their ya-yas out & corp needed to keep the sheeple in the flock. After all, I'm quite sure I wasn't the only one with all offishul Aerosmith & Nugent LPs, a few posters, belts, etc.. The one-off Aerosmith items were made by me in Arts & Crafts. Must be worth a fortune

I'm going to try to learn how to play Stranglehold on my PRS this week.

I oftentimes wonder if Ted Nugent truly appreciates what Derek contributed to his band.

I have to admit that Ted continues to entertain me even today. I'm awaiting his endorsement of Trump, but I reckon it depends on Donald's stand on the second amendment (further comments/replies should to be redirected to P&R).

Derek is the ying to Ted's yang. Or vice versa.

Besides that video, no clue who she is/was, had to Google her, and I'm (only?) 30...

She's pretty, and has a great voice, I would take our broken Ford F150 up to the flight line in Iraq as the sun was going down and crank this song, we had 1 radio station, owned by the Danes, and they played it all the time...I would drive and zone out, classic.

 

Ha! I'm 34 and wonder how I find out who these people are. I tend to still stop on the various music video stations from time to time and end up finding out who some people are. The first time I saw her was for this song, and I immediately was like, "that girl was on Two and Half Men!".
