NOOOOOO The car was still for sale? I didn't see the ad online anymore...I assumed it had sold? If it didn't and was still in the show room...what a shame. Hopefully it's not too damaged and can be salvaged.
Wow first that sucks hope he gets what its worth. Any word on the finsl state of the car? Anything salvalgible? If the interior isnt burned may be interested in some parts if he buys it back or parts it.
A sad reminder to all of us, as the values of our cars have increased, adjust the valuations on your insurance policies. Talked to a man last week, he has a beautiful 246GT Dino, long term owner, he said he still has it insured for $75,000. Yikes!!
I know the buyer of the car from the insurance company. It wasn't damaged too badly...it will be back on the road.
Thats funny because the car is still sitting in the building and my friend has not been paid out yet, he's not settled with the insurance company. As far as how bad the car is nobody knows because you can't get to the car yet.The buyer of the car will be me, when and if that car go's up forsale..lol.I think your friend just bought the yellow 355 spider that went threw ICBC not this car.
And even if you have stated value the insurance company will fight you on it, keep all receipts and if it takes a few months to settle so be it...
Ahhh that may make sense! It seemed too quick to be in his hands. He told me he bought a yellow 355. I didn't ask much more except that I was interested in buying the seats! lol
I know the old owner of the spider very well and what happend..He's the guy i bought the red GTS with sport seats last year.My partner did all the work on the yellow spider guide's and all.I also bid on the spider but it went for WAY to much,i was going to part it out lots of good parts.I'm not so sure that your friend that bid understands that not only will that car need body work it was half sunk in water when it ended up in the ditch. That will explain the interior.
