    My early '91 had plastic, just replaced them with metal (much better). Both appear to be factory, perhaps an upgrade as the plastic ones easily crack.

    Both of mine are cracked. I ordered a 'new' from one place its plastic. I got a used from another and its metal. These triangles are a pain, anyone have any to sell?
