I called the number in the ad yesterday - went to VM - "You have reached Portabello Motors .... Left contact with request to call me back. Looked them up with no luck. There was some reference to a GM dealer in Watsonville but couldn't find any reference to the above. Time to move on.
I received a response from the seller saying he just accepted a deposit pending the outcome of a ppi.

Congratulations. It's fun to have a car you can use. 86K means someone else has already fixed all the common 456 issues. Yours is probably in better shape than most low mileage ones. How are the window seals? Love the contrasting interior/exterior.
Hi, Thank you to everybody for the welcome. The window seal are good. Only the rear window seal need some attention. I have around $35 k of invoices for maintenance and part replacement very recently done. The car drive perfectly. the manual gear is a paradise, my other 456 was automatic, nothing near this one. Looking forward to meeting you in one of the FCA in Naples
