Like a feeding whale.
It seems to look better in person and the interior also seems to be a step up from other models, however I'd like to see one with larger wheels or a better fender to wheel gap, which seems typical for all Maserati models. It should do well, the technology is there, the style and exclusivity will help too. It's not a cookie cutter design, but then again Maserati's were never bland.
Even those pictures don't seem to do it justice. These videos you get a much better perspective of its overall shape. That front is much more aggressive than the pictures appear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f426sVMXh14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44xFC2VX11Q
Thanks. The design is growing on me. The front was already a winner but it seems that the profile and rear is better than the initial pictures. The icing on the cake is the sound of the engine on the first video. Nice!!
The styling seems to be a decent hit with many people on forums (after the release of the official pictures and the car presentation in Geneva). That's good as the brand needs people to like the Levante's styling, making this vehicle a great choice (style, sound, engine, interior). Could anyone who saw the Levante in a car show say how big the vehicle really is compared to let's say a Range Rover Sport or a Cayenne? Wikipedia shows it would be a little bit longer and bigger than the Range Rover Sport, but looking at pictures it does not seem that way at all...
I would say in its appearance the Levante is roughly as big as the Cayenne, clearly smaller than a RR Sport (which one is high and wide). RRS l = 4.850 mm w= 2.220 mm h= 1.780 mm wheelbase= 2.923 mm Levante l = 5.003 mm w= 2.158 mm h= 1.679 mm wheelbase= 3.004 mm Porsche l = 4.855 mm w= 1.939 mm h= 1.705 mm wheelbase= 2.895 mm
Thank you for your post. The Levante is therefore the biggest one of all but it seems "small" when looking at the pictures (like a small crossover). Looking forward to seeing it at the local dealer.
