We all know we will lose money on the sale of our cars so whats the big deal buy it,drive it,sell it and lose money I knew it when I bought it no surprise.
Boy did I have a lot of fun losing money. Money in the bank when your dead is no fun at all.

Sounds more than reasonable to me or as suggested spend 25-30k more for a low miles rig. I've put over 6000 miles on mine this year and purchased it with 3500 miles. These cars are to be driven. Ps. My spider is Nero / Nero good call on the color bro.

Thanks for all the input. Just received word that my $200k offer was accepted. I find that the best deals are cars on consignment at a dealer. Lucky for me this one is at a Ferrari dealer. I'm going for the extra $5k for CPO and a redo of the front clear bra.....I plan to drive this one as I did not get to enjoy the last one as much.

+1 Two years ago, I traded a 246 GT toward a 2013 458 Spider. My former Dino was sold at the 2014 Pebble Beach auctions for $99,000 more than I was allowed on the trade-in, and my 458 is depreciating as we speak. I couldn't be happier. I got the car I wanted, after 31 years of owning the Dino. Meanwhile, last year my investment losses were extremely large, not one penny of which gave me a scintilla of the thrill that my depreciating Ferrari did. Would that all my financial losses were as much fun as a depreciating Ferrari! Fred

So this car was 300 plus Msrp and all reality it's a two year car and couple months.
So the previous owner took a 100 plus hit plus tax.
So I guess the regular formula is out the window.
    Well done ravelle.

So far all checks out as described...PPI done as part of CPO and no issues found, sticker was actually $356k, still concerned about 25k miles....going to see car on Monday.
I've been offered 2010 & 11 cars with under 10k miles (coupes) for $177k-190k with good options/colors. They're out there if you really look and are ready to pull the trigger. I wanted a 12 or newer because they come with 7 year service, but price jumps $15k-20k+ for 12 and above.

I would not at all be overly concerned about the mileage at all as long as maintenance was performed. It also means you can drive and enjoy her more and just not worry about it! It's a relief.

My old F430 has 28K miles now, runs great and still on the original clutch too!
458 with 25K miles should be just fine.

    ^That is a great deal.

458 values are an anomaly. I dont think they are going to dip hard anytime soon...the F430 is holding up really strong too.

The huracans on the other hand........................

Wouldn't want to waste my time if I were you. Ppl can think whatever they want. There are anomalies to pricing and mileage. One cannot compare a 5,000 mile or even 8,000 mile car to a 25,000 mile car. Im curious what the car would trade in for after 30,000 miles?

my 2010 458 was decently optioned and went for 185 with 6500 miles on it. Granted retail pricing at dealers and quoted trade values have quite a large spread right now.

In the market for a 458. Speaking to a few F dealers. There are several 2015 coupes avail, 1 owner, nicely optioned, not red (red cars are less), some less than 2000 miles, all dealers asking $290K, hoping to get one for less than $270K, tho one dealer told me $285K was the best he could do...what's a fair price?
