Under tray

The correct direction is the one it comes with, always trust what I say. Now with that settled, what's everyone's thought on the best oil to use? I've read mineral oil is the best to use in all Italian cars

Doubt it. They would only work while moving, and if the car is moving that much, normal airflow has it covered.

More likely - they are there for the "wow" effect, to catch the eye of someone that says "I gotta have that".

 

Well, I just installed the Superformance version on my '77 GTB. Had to drill two new holes to convert from RHD to LHD (one mount hole and the hole for the drain hose). Subjectively, it does seem to help the car run cooler, even in traffic. I will report back after the temperature here breaks 70F, LOL.

 

The panel was missing when I bought my 85 QV, so I made a flat one out of 2.5mm aluminum sheet and fitted it. Works fine, but I do wish I had louvered it. I am sure any hot air will need to escape beneath the car as it would be from the front radiator. Scooping in any air will not help anything. I then remembered that my son's Porsche 944 has a aluminum panel under the engine with louvers to scavange air out of the engine compartment.

Roughly 3 months since you introduced the extra venting, how do you feel it's been doing?

Now in production, argued that it fixes all cabin heat related issues, makes air conditioning 10 degrees cooler, replaces air conditioning when not present, extends battery life, increases HP rating by 2. $175 and shipping is always included

Is it true that installing two, one below the other, with the vents facing in posit direction will actually cause the car to handle better? Or is it just that the vortex causes a slight suction under the front end?

 

What your talking about is reversion technology, yes I have one on my personal 308, there's a reason why mine is the bestest 308 ever

For the record, I think post #1 confuses the inspection plate with the undertray. The part shown in post #1 is not the same as the part shown in post #3.

If needed, I have detailed drawings/dimensions of the undertray.

 

That looks pretty sweet. Maybe include a second a/c condensate tube hole so it will work for RHD cars also.
