Finally watching "Hass F1: America's Return to the Grid"....where is the American accept for the funding???? Disenchanted.
See post 121. It has been discussed. If the owner is American and has his name a foot high as the only sponsor on the car, regardless of where he buys his components, the team is "American". Half of your Ford's and Chevy's parts are made overseas as well... He means "except the funding". He is also talking about the Haas team, not Hass.
I totally agree. I used to like Super Aguri for the same reasons but Haas is showing F1 it can be done -- albeit with a LOT of help from Ferrari.
Haas has demonstrated that even within the regulations, you can enter F1 without doing everything in-house Team Haas has hit the ground running, instead of spending years re-inventing the wheel like Manor, Caterham, etc... I welcome this pragmatic approach, and that may even be an inspiration for future teams.
