    Hi Guys,

My name is Joe. I just recently sold my gtr and trying to buy my first exotic car for my up coming wedding. Was extensively looking for a Huracan but still cant get my myself over with not buying a 458 (my dream car)

The only thing stops me of buying a 458 is the price of the 458. It is all over the place because of the mileage/options.
Not like huracan which only came out a year. All mileages are very similar and huracan owner tends to get similar options. But I just dont know what price is a good deal for a 458.

Well, I am relatively young, 26 years old and I am buying this car with my car salary (finance for sure) .
So I am struggling to get a good price.

    My budget is around 215-235.
I want a white coupe (black is ok too), preferably red interior. I dont really need carbon part,
the must option is just lift system and backup camera.

Right now, my fav car is from mclaren boston
Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe | McLaren Boston
I talked down to around 225 and i think i still can get it little bit lower.

Is it a good price in terms of options?

    Also,
If you have any good source/cars with my preference, please let me know.
I want to make a decision within this month

    Thanks a million in advance!

    Joe

225 is a good deal. I have bought a few Ferraris and the most I got off was 4-5% asking. In the long run another 5,000 isn't going to make a difference. If you drive it regularly it will depreciate more than $5,000 anyway.

I would rather pay a few extra dollars for exactly what I want . So ... If that car is exactly what you were looking for pay the price and don't worry about the extras 5-10k you could save on a car that's almost but not exactly what you want. You will be happier in the long run.Ps the car looks great and the price seem fair .Mine is Nero too. Good luck.

Keep in mind that you could always wrap the black car to white

    Any particular reason you're wanting a 13/14?

Love the spec, if you want to (later) spec it with the carbon interior parts I've found them not be very expensive at the aftermarket dealers, the most important thing is to have the LED steering wheel which this has, it is imo the coolest and most convenient option in the 458.

Also those seats are great, I have the fully automatic as well and you can blow up the sides on the seats so it grips and keeps you firmly in place, imo even better than the racing seats, which I tried before I bought the fully automatic once (I think the size was large).

Hi, Joe. Congratulations on the big day.

I like your taste. Are you local to Mclaren Boston?

well im nervous at buying older cars (even tho they have not been driven for too much).
but i can not afford 15s, so 13/14 is my best bet

yeah, i got your point. Should i ask them to take it for ppi?
is it stupid to ask them to ship it to me directly without driving it

Hi Joe, I live 5 minutes from McLaren of Boston and know the sales manager. If there's anything I can do at the dealer let me know, I'd be glad to help.

Thanks bro!! I have been talking to Joanthan the whole time, is he happened to be the same guy you know?

Now I wonder if i should ask them to take the car to ferrari dealer for ppi (any ferrari dealer nearby?)

Should I ask them to ship the car to me directly or I should (i think i should) check out the car in person ?

    Whats your opinion on this?

    Regards,
    Joe

yes I know Jonathan, he's a great guy. A ppi is a great way to feel confident about the car in my opinion. Ferrari of New England is about 20 miles away so not bad. I just talked to Michael the service manager at Ferrari and they will do a ppi for you for about $500. You just need to arrange with Mclaren to get it up there. Chances are they sold the car originally so would have any service info. If the car checks out positive then it may not be necessary to look at it in person but is always good to do so. I would be glad to look at it for what it's worth also.

thanks bro!! please help me to check it out. Because Joanthan said this car has never had clear bra on it. So im kinda worried about the paint condition.

I talked to Joanthan, "We can send the car to a local Specialist IFS for a PPI if you wish, we don’t send our cars to Ferrari of New England as myself and our service director left work at Ferrari NE last October to open the McLaren store.

Our technician Corbin is a Master Ferrari Technician and can do the PPI also if you wish.

    http://www.ifsferrari.com/"

Not sure if i should just let them do ppi, cuz for me a ppi from ferrari is more convincing.

    Regards,
    joe

yeah, that's how I know those guys from their time at FMNE. Not surprised they won't work together now. I'm not sure what to think of them doing the ppi, I guess it's obviously better than doing nothing so maybe it's the best bet. Let me know when you're at the point of seriously considering the car and I will stop by and see Jonathan and have a close look at it.

Good luck. Hope you get the car. You definitely won't regret the extra $5k-$9k you could have saved once you are driving it at 5k-9k rpm on the streets. Trust me.
