Gold painted wheels on Azzurro Blue Ferrari 360

Any thoughts on how BBS gold color paint would look on standard 360 wheels. Saw it on a blue 458 Speciale and it looked fantastic.

Gold wheels would compliment the interior of your 360. Not so much if it was black.

It looks great if you get the right color gold. Nothing too bright or shiny...

 

I wouldn't do it on your particular car. IMO gold/bronze wheels only look good when executed perfectly on the right model and color. They look appropriate on an aggressive looking coupe, not so much on a Spyder with beige interior, which I think it would clash with.

I agree. I don't think it would look right with the starfish wheels.

I agree with Apexsniper. Looks like your color is Azzurro Monaco. I have a 360 coupe in the same color. I think gold would not look right as this blue is a bit too light to be complimented by gold. Gold looks nice on darker blues like TdF, but IMHO silver or titanium rims work best with the lighter Azzurro colors.

 

That 458 Speciale is my desktop back ground and absolute favorite. Is that Abu Dahbi Blue? My 360 spyder color is California Azzurro Blue.

I think your paint is gorgeous but i wouldn't go gold on the wheels ....ugh. Gunmetal grey though? That would look both gorgeous and bada$$ - at the same time.

However, if you just happen to play linebacker for the San Diego Chargers the gold would be... "fitting".

 

Can any of you digital artists on here help the original poster? Might take some various shades of gold to help him decide.

 

If you want gold wheels, consider getting a set of the Scuderia/16M style wheels made for the 360 and F430. They are 7.5x19 F and 10x19 R, same as CS and F430 wheels. They came from the factory in gold, which the standard 360 wheels never did.

Look at Chris from Exoticar's ad in FerrariAds. He can paint them any color you want if he does not have the correct color in stock, provide tires at a good price, and send you the entire balanced set.

Gold wheels look good on this Speciale.

 

I also have the California Azurro with cuio interior. Love the color and women are always coming up to me at car shows to complement the car. Never have had that happen with my red Ferrari's.
